The conference is intended primarily for researchers and policymakers from the academic, government, and development communities. Advanced PhD students in economics or other social science disciplines may attend, but the conference is not suitable for under-graduates or Master’s Degree students.
Those wishing to present a paper should send a detail abstract or complete draft (strongly preferred) to Email: CIBS2(at)wider.unu.edu. Each applicant should complete a form, and submit a brief CV. The deadline for submissions is 15 April 2008. Final copies of accepted papers are required by 1 June 2008. A selection of the papers presented at the conference will be considered for publication in an edited book and/or in a journal special issue.
