In many cases, analyses produced by UNU-WIDER have had a traceable impact on real-life policy-making.

Two publishers have established book series of our titles:

• Oxford University Press UNU-WIDER Studies in Development Economics

• Palgrave Macmillan Studies in Development Economics and Policy

UNU-WIDER research is also published in special issues of academic journals. These are always individually arranged as the institute does not have its own journal.
